Active Meditation

The Active Meditation daily exercise is a form of mindfulness meditation where we bring our awareness to our senses. However, rather than sitting or lying down, as most of us envision people meditating, we do Active Meditation while moving through our environment.

Go for a short walk, and spend some time bringing your awareness to each of your senses. How many sounds can you hear? What do those sounds sound like? What sensations do you notice?
